Marina Open is a villa surrounded by a wide garden. It is composed of four elegant and spacious apartments, two on the ground floor (Gondola and Campiello) and two (Bricola and Altana) on the first floor. Marina Open is located on the littoral of Cavallino Treporti, between the sea and the lagoon, two kilometers away from the harbour of Punta Sabbioni where you can catch the boat to Venice and to the other lagoon islands. Marina Open is open all year round. It is possible to make a reservation for a minimum of three nights in low season. During the opening time of Camping Village Marina di Venezia, all the guests of Marina Open will be able to enjoy all the facilities of the campsite.

Lio Piccolo is worth a visit in any season. To fully admire this unique ecosystem, the best way is going there by bike. It is an easy route and it goes into the heart of the northern lagoon. Amid sandbanks, shallow waters and a lush and wild vegetation, you will have a vantage point from where to spot a lot of animal species, in particular water birds such as the egret and, at certain time of the year, the elegant pink flamingo too. Don’t miss the sunset in the lagoon: it’s breathtaking!
You have certainly noticed the numerous fortifications which are scattered along the littoral of Cavallino Treporti. They have been built during the Great War with the purpose of defending Venice. Military barracks, telemetry towers, bunkers and batteries are located all along Cavallino Treporti. They represent an unmissable opportunity to admire the architectural heritage of the littoral and to know an important aspect of the historical and cultural identity of Cavallino Treporti. In particular Battery Pisani and Battery Amalfi which have recently been renovated, represent a great occasion to discover part of the history of this lagoon area.
